The 14th QTL-MAS workshop is being organised by the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Department of Genetics and Animal Breeding, in collaboration with the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences. The key theoretical and practical components of the 14th QTL MAS workshop will be oral presentations by the following five invited speakers: Prof. William G. Hill (University of Edinburgh), Prof. Karl W. Broman (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Dr. Y.S. Aulchenko (EUMC, Rotterdam), Dr. M. Bogdan (WUT, Wroclaw) and Dr. A. Charcosset (INRA). Like in the two previous successful workshops, participants will have an opportunity to discuss their approaches to analyses of a simulated common data set, which will be relevant to both plant and animal genetics. Deadline for early registration is 28th of February. A deadline for paper submission will be set soon. The common data set is now available.
